| When visiting Disneyland
California you'll discover that the rides are only half the
entertainment. In addition to great food and fun, Disneyland
features live shows with talented performers from the Disney cast.
On any given day you'll see
several bands perform, and watch some dancers, actors in costume the
culmination of a complete day with a parade after or around sunset.
From earlier days when Big
Band concerts featured Buddie Rich and a variety of jazz all stars,
to today's talents that come directly out of Disney's central
casting, enjoy watching performances such as Mary Poppins act seen
in a video that includes a song, Jolly Holiday. In the Mary Poppins
movie, Jolly Holiday was performed by Dick Van Dyke and Julie
Andrews. The song was written by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B.

Performing on Main Street with
Sleeping Beauty Castle seen in the background, guests stop to watch
as crowds pass by. This is where the horse drawn steetcar, the
horseless carriage and the omnibus all make a stop in their
back-and-forth journey down the thoroughfare.
When visiting Disneyland, not
only will you have ample opportunities to see the Disney characters
for meet & greet photo sessions, you'll also have lots of musical
entertainment to watch. Be sure grab a brochure at the
entrance to Disneyland to keep abreast of the day's activities and
entertainment featured on a colored map.
