The Queen Mary Ship Dining Experience Long Beach, CA

Hotel Queen Mary
1126 Queens Highway, Long Beach, California

Queen Mary's Grand Salon 1126 Queens Highway, Long Beach, CA

ining: (562) 499-1606

Queen Mary ship offers the opportunity to enjoy the elegant cruise ship experiences at dry dock. This ship never leaves port as it sits permanently in the Long Beach Harbor. Beautiful, timeless and haunted are some of its attributes and attractions. Many couples stay overnight hoping to enjoy a psychic encounter, ghost visitation or paranormal event.

There's a lot going on in this complex beauty that weighs tons, costs a fortune to operate and includes lots of original lighting, woods and and decorator treatments that have survived over 70 years of wear and tear on the sea as both a cruise ship, and then a transport ship for World War II soldiers coming home to the USA.

Queen Mary has been through so many transitions. We recall a dinner theater at one time, party and function space, special events venue and one of the latest re-inventions is the Sunday Brunch for the public wishing to dine in a classic setting with good food and a reasonable price, too!  Several ship restaurants ranging from casual to semi-formal, and even late night burlesque style shows. Pictures above were captured at one Sunday Brunch held at the Grand Salon. The food  includes cheese trays, bread towers, dessert buffets, meat custom-carved to your liking and generous shrimp, mussels and other seafood items, plus lots of salads, make this a meal you'll enjoy, offering something for most everyone in your party.

For children, there's a cute kids station that pint-size, standing only a few feet tall. It has the kids' foods such as Dominoes Pizza, chicken fingers and macaroni. It seems crazy to pay more money for this meal, but not if you want to eat well and spend quality time with children on board.
