You don't have to get dressed up to dine at the Lodge in Pebble Beach.  Under the umbrellas of the upper deck, you can sit casually, wearing shorts.  Items on the menu include salads, soups, hamburgers, grilled fish sandwich entrees and other unique items.  The Lobster Bisque pictured above, was well worth the price of around $12.  for its generous contents of lobster.  Though the soup broth needed a dose of sherry, I was quite satisfied as I searched and ate all the lobster, with the main lobster serving shaped like a fish.  A basket included slices of fresh, baked bread with soft, dark olive pieces I initially mistook for raisins.  It was a real winner!

The salad was clean, simple, and included  slices of marinated tomato and a roasted caper salad dressing.  The dressing was clean, light and fresh. 

Lunch for two without liquor was around $50, using the $8 receipt from the admission into Pebble Beach.
