Moonstone Beach - Cambria, California
Cambria, Calif.--Moonstone Beach is one of Cambria's and the
Central Coast's scenic spots. Romantic, uncrowded, unspoiled and close to Hearst
Castle, you can watch the elephant seals, migrating whales, shop in Cambria,
dine, sample wines and have a lovely time.
Moonstone Beach is Cambria's best opportunity
for a vacation or getaway with hotel rooms or suites offering ocean views. Scenic walks, sunsets, sandy beaches, interesting rocks, seagulls and
the constant waves crashing in misty motion, you'll fall in love with Moonstone
Beach. Or maybe you'll fall in love with someone at Moonstone Beach, the
romantic place.
Walking paths above the beach include a
nice boardwalk for people to stroll. Access stairs or climbs down the small
hills to the beach include sandy and rocky coves perfect for picnics and nature
watching. If you venture to Cambria on California Central Coast not far from San
Luis Obispo, Morro Bay and Pismo Beach, Moonstone Beach in Cambria offers a
slower pace and more rustic environs than Pismo with its long pier and tourist
shops. Moonstone is great for families, but is frequented by adult couples
seeking quiet time, upscale shopping with artists' galleries, wine bars and
gourmet meals.
