MONTEREY COUNTY CALIFORNIA CITIES POPULATION

Monterey County, California comprises a fairly large geographic area while its population is somewhat small in relation to its property. The extremely popular tourist attractions and beaches of the Monterey Bay region offer many hotel rooms while the houses are quite expensive to purchase. To the east is the Salinas Valley "Salad Bowl" which is one of the fastest growing areas in this farm-rich region. This area will continue to grow in population in upcoming decades and the population figures will likewise grow in cities such as Salinas, Soledad and King City. Unincorporated regions such as Big Sur do not offer accurate population figures though the population is quite small.
