Mono County is a sparsely
population California County with the city of Mammoth Lakes enjoying a modest,
but growing population of under 10,000 people. The city and region attracts a
hearty audience of those seeking a natural environment conducive to skiing,
snowmobiling, bicycling, hiking, fishing, bird watching and photography.
Though the Mono County population is small, the tourism base is strong. Mammoth
