Los Osos or Valley of the Bears is set in lush rolling hills with sand beaches and a somewhat secluded atmosphere, just a few miles south of Morro Bay. There are two matching bear statues located on the opposite ends of town.

One of Central Coast's well kept secrets, this beautiful stretch of coastline and scenic 7-mile drive should not be missed when visiting areas such as San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay. The beaches and small town offer grocery stores, a gourmet coffee shop where locals meet, outdoor restaurant dining, shady-tree lined streets, several hotels and a state park for nearby camping. Nature walks, kayaking and dining by the sand are a few of things you can do here.

Right around the bend is the scenic entrance to Morro Bay which leads past the golf course and Natural History Museum.
