Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa
21500 Pacific Coast
Highway, Huntington Beach, CA
Are
you looking for a great resort hotel on the beach in Orange
County? Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa
could be the key to your greatest vacation! Lauded as one of
the favorite, newest California beach resorts, Hyatt Regency Huntington
Beach Resort and Spa sits along the Southern California
coast in Orange County. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the
hotel includes ocean view rooms, spa facilities, conference
facilities, wedding facilities, a bar, lounge, restaurant,
grocer, art gallery and gift stores on site, plus an arched
bridge hotel guests and the public can walk across to go to
the beach.
The sandy beaches of Huntington Beach are
the selling point for this casually elegant Hyatt Regency Huntington
Beach Resort. The hotel is event driven, too. In addition to
a full calendar of events the city's orchestrated to keep
residents and tourists visiting, they Hyatt features live
jazz in its Red Chair Lounge, live music in Pete Mallory's
Surf City Grille, and smooth jazz concerts a few times each
year featuring the likes of Warren Hill, Mindy Abair and
other popular jazz artists. While prices have risen on this
affordable beach vacation, the price for a hotel room or
suite is comparable to similar hotels nearby such Surf and
Sand or Montage Resort and Spa in Laguna Beach, and The Ritz
Carlton Laguna Niguel.
Let's
delve into what exactly you'll discover when entering the
valet drive of the Hyatt Resort. First, you may notice an
ornate, decorative fountain, one of 15 fountains designed
for this property. As you leave your car in the valet care
and enter the lobby, the theme includes high ceilings,
pavered floors, artisan created blown glass light fixtures
and large doors opening to another set of fountains and the
Pacific Ocean.
You'll
stroll over to the reception counters and be issued a room
either in the same building, or out the doors through a
courtyard to outcroppings of the building. The rooms feature
the beds Hyatt is recognized for (top quality support
designed for those with back problems.) We love the Hyatt
bed and are repeat customers for that feature alone. Not all
rooms look toward the ocean. You'll pay more normally to get
that ocean view. But all the views are pleasant in
this hotel built next to upscale gated housing featuring
similar architecture.
We've
stayed at the Hyatt Resort in Huntington Beach twice and
found the surroundings very nice. We'd go back again
(and probably will), so we encourage you to check it out for
yourself and discover how Huntington Beach has transformed
from the days of Tin Can Beach to the era of upscale beach
casual.
