I booked this typical room for my mom and dad (pictured) at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort. They absolutely loved it! Instead of wandering around the town of Huntington Beach, they stayed at the resort, drinking Starbucks coffee from the Surf City Grocer Starbucks shop, looking at art work in the Huntington Beach Gallery located there and sitting on the little 2nd story patio deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean, shown in the photo. They didn't even wander over the public bridge overpass to Huntington Beach. They said the fountains beneath their room in the courtyard were so soothing, they just wanted to relax.

Located steps from the beach in beautiful Southern California, the resort features beautiful architecture fashioned in the vein of southern Spanish cities and villages. Lushly landscaped courtyards, large lagoon-style pool, spa grottos, full service spa and outdoor retail plaza combine to create a casually elegant seaside retreat.

Restaurant Information

The Californian  Located adjacent to the resorts main lobby, The Californian serves contemporary California cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner overlooking the California Courtyard with its fountain, Palm trees and blue Pacific beyond. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available, as well as private dining rooms. Surf City Sunset Grille  Located in the retail shopping plaza and oriented towards the ocean, just beyond the Lighthouse Courtyard. Serving lunch, dinner and cocktails in a casual, fun surfing theme atmosphere. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available. An outdoor fireplace will accent the deck area. Red Chair Lounge  Libations and casual relaxation are provided at the Red Chair Lounge complimented by rich wood paneling and an elegant fireplace. Located just off the main lobby and overlooking the California Courtyard, the lounge provides beautiful views of the ocean and sunset. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available. Mankota's Grill  This pool grill is nestled into the landscape and provide casual dining in an intimate patio setting. An outdoor fireplace also accents this eatery. In addition to the provided seating, the grill provides poolside food and beverage service.

Meeting facilities  The Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa offers 52,000 square feet of meeting space to serve your conference needs. The centerpiece of this space is a 20,000 square foot ballroom, accommodating up to 2,000 people. The ballroom is adjoined by a pre-function foyer and terrace with stunning views of the Pacific and a 15,000 square foot ocean view courtyard specifically designed for outdoor events. Additional facilities include two ocean view ballrooms of 6,300 and 3,300 square feet, extensive and flexible ocean view meeting facilities and a 10,700 square foot exhibit hall.
