The Hyatt Regency Newport Beach has
the look and feel of the Hawaiian Islands; with the
wonderful Southern California weather, it's nearly always perfect in Newport
Beach. The
staff is friendly and the rooms are very clean and neatly appointed. Above is
a view from one of the hotel rooms we tried. The room offered a king bed,
a living room table and sofa, beautiful new bedspread and carpet, nice
marble treatments in the bathroom and a balcony to enjoy the Newport Beach
weather. There are some two-story executive suites with full kitchen and
a private patio deck and swimming pool which are very nice!
Located across the street from Fashion
Island shopping center, Atrium Court, Farmer's Market and the Newport Beach
Art Museum, there's also a small beach in the "back bay" and across Pacific
Coast Highway is lovely Balboa Island and the beaches of Newport Beach.
You can ride the ferry boat, take a 45 minute boat tour of the bay or catch
a Catamaran making the day trip to Catalina Island. Near the Hyatt Newporter
on Jamboree, there's also an ecological reserve for birds and walking trails
for exercise or bird watching. John Wayne Airport (Orange County,
Santa Ana Airport) is less then 5 miles from the hotel.

Newport Beach Jazz
Festival, rooms book up almost a year previous to some jazz events.
From the balcony of certain rooms, you can look out to the open courtyard
where the concerts are held. Top jazz artists from around the world play
at the venue.
Hyatt Regency Newport
Beach is one of my favorite
choices in Newport Beach for accommodations. You can spend a little
less, but you'll notice a difference.
