Surfrider Beach Cleanup offers
opportunity to contribute in Huntington
Beach
Huntington Beach, Calif.-– Surfrider Foundation is one of the
most active and involved nonprofit
organizations aiming at preservation and
protection of the world's beaches and
oceans. It's not hard to become
involved, yourself. You don't have to
pay money to join the group, though they
always appreciate having new members.
The way you can contribute is be doing a
beach cleanup. Bring friends or come
alone and prepare for exercise, often in
the sun, and the do-good feeling that
your are really helping out. Beach
cleanups are responsible for the
collection of tons of trash annually.
While you may think your little bit
can't make a difference, the combined
efforts of thousands of "you" and "me"
do make an impact on the trash and
pollution on our beaches and in our
oceans.
Surfrider Foundation beach cleanups
occur in Huntington Beach often at
Bolsa
Chica State Beach. They usually include
free parking for those who validated to
work at the cleanup.
