Entertainment and Tourism Academy at
Huntington Beach High School is a hands
on program that allows high school
students to explore opportunities in one
of California's largest industry's,
tourism.
From
"fam" or familiarization trips to cruise
ships to an inside visit to Hollywood
studios, students are offered a glimpse
at the real careers in the places where
high school and college grads work in
Southern California. Huntington Beach
High School ET is a part of the
innovative learning academy that offers
talented students in the arts and
entertainment fields to gain further
training with specialized course
offerings catered to their special
needs.
The
Entertainment & Tourism Academy allows
students to explore a wide variety of
career options in tourism, especially.
From management positions to food
preparation or chef, there are countless
jobs and potential employers throughout
Southern California. In Orange County
where Huntington Beach High School is
located, Disneyland and Disneys
California Adventure theme parks, Knotts
Berry Farm and 40 miles of beaches are
destinations serving well over 20
million visitors annually.
