booking a Huntington Beach hotel room, you
will need to consider seasonal demand that
reaches a maximum on special events such US
Open of Surfing the last week of July and
first week of August, Paintball in March
(usually), and an annual marathon held on
Super Bowl Sunday in February usually.

celebrity Bullock & Diaz crowd), and the beach steps from the
hotel. Subterranean parking is free to guests.

and hotel chains in Huntington Beach and
Sunset Beach include Best Western, Comfort
Suites, ExtendedStay America. There are
around a dozen hotel options in Huntington
Beach California with prices sometimes as
low as less than $100 and extending as high
for an executive ocean view suite to above
$1000 per night.

Huntington Beach hotels range from
affordable and budget hotels along Beach
Boulevard in Huntington Beach to the north
end of Pacific Coast Highway near Anaheim
Bay across the street from gated Surfside.
Those hotels, while sitting near the
Huntington Harbour and bay, do not have
direct access to Sunset Beach beaches across
the busy Pacific Coast Highway. To access
the beach you must walk to a traffic light
and cross the highway, then walk two blocks
to the ocean. Or, you can drive and park in
Sunset Beach.
Sunset
Beach Hotels on the ocean side of the
highway include Ramada Ocean View hotel and
EconoLodge hotel. Those hotels are usually
quite affordable. Huntington Beach
hotels are also located along Beach
Boulevard, near the Huntington Beach
shopping mall and near The Boeing Company is
an Extended Stay that attracts a hefty crowd
of per diem business travelers.
If you
are seeking a
Huntington Beach hotel, most the time
you'll find availability. There are only a
few key days or weekends where you'll have
to go elsewhere and those typically include
the last weekend in July for the US Open of
Surfing.
For
nearby hotels to Huntington Beach with
actual on the beach lodgings, you can stay
next door at the Ramada Limited in Sunset
Beach or the Sanatra Inn in Sunset Beach.
Newport Beach features the Balboa Inn and
Balboa Bay Club on the beach. Laguna Beach
has several great properties on the beach as
well. Our favorite on the beach city
surrounding Huntington Beach is not that
close. It's San Diego, 90 miles south.
That's the on-the-beach choice.
