City of
Huntington Beach Customer Appreciation
Day
by Chris MacDonald
Hopefully you won't have to pay a
parking fine in Huntington Beach or file
a police report.
Huntington Beach Civic Center that
includes City Hall is not only the
center of city government, but the
complex also contains the police
station, a sculpture, commemorative
gardens and
bird murals worth over $1 million
that were saved from Seacliff Shopping
Center when it was renovated. The City
of Huntington Beach sometimes organizes
Open House or Customer Appreciation Day.
Inviting the public to visit and explore
the departments,
emergency operations and people,
these annual event are well worth taking
the time to see.
The City of Huntington Beach recently
hosted Customer Appreciation Day for the
public. The public dropped by City Hall
to be greeted by officials from the City
Clerk's Office and other departments. To
the citizens' delight there were great
prize giveaways, souvenirs, snacks and
even special songs sung by the fantastic
singers from Rodgers Senior Center.
People appreciated the city thanking the
public and citizens thanked the city
officials for providing the important
tasks they do regularly for the public's
well-being. Employees also participated
in the fun event as they are actually
customers of different departments.
