Humboldt County California
population is growing as are many other desirable beach and
oceanfront locations of California. Rain is way of life in an
area that experiences over 40 inches of it annually. The Pacific
Ocean and huge Redwood forests make this a nature-loverr's haven,
and it takes a lot of rain to feed some of the oldest, tallest
trees on earth. Population growth is controlled but is occurring
and will continue into upcoming decades. With over 100,000
population, the largest cities Eureka, Arcata and Fortuna. None
of the cities are larger than 50,000 but amazingly offer gourmet
restaurants, theater, arts, museums and fabulous cultural
attractions.
