Yermo, California Travel Guide
Yermo, home to Calico Ghost Town, is located on the major highway route between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. For those traveling by car, you can stop at this ghost town to enjoy a train ride, view some historic buildings, a small museum and shops with themed Western gifts such as CDs, leather belts, hats, wallets and crafts. Calico Ghost Town hosts special events throughout the year. Of course it's a bit touristy, but it's a great stop on road trips between desert gambling and California beaches.

There aren't many urban areas around Yermo but its charm is the Old West. You'd be amazed at how many Asians stop on their road trips between L.A. and Las Vegas!
