What's San Diego got that nobody else has? Everything! That's right. In one vacation or visit you can take in culture (dozens of museums, plays, musicals, concerts and clubs,) soak up the rays (beaches with surfing, sunbathing, scuba diving and boating,) and take in sports with baseball, sailing, surfing and more, and enjoy nature in a zoo, wild animal park and aquarium.

San Diego is one of the most casual cities in California, so when you visit, you can just about anywhere in a pair of shorts. That's really the most relaxing experience one can have in city that fronts bays and beaches.

Annual events such as the US Open Sandcastle Competition in Imperial Beach is a kid's dream, as is Legoland in Carlsbad, SeaWorld in San Diego, San Diego Zoo, or Wild Animal Park. An ideal place to take the tiny tots is Belmont Park, a seaside old-fashioned park with kids games and rides that are pint size.

Build sandcastles, take a boat ride, tour a military ship, launch from the gliderport in La Jolla, play a world class round of golf, gamble, shop, see a museum, art and play, ride a train, watch a horse race at Del Mar, and be a star.
