Hollywood Walk of Fame

Hollywood is one of the top destinations in California. Tourists from around the glob literally flock on a daily basis to Hollywood, hoping to see celebrities, or at least the places where they hang out and live. Hollywood, on first glance, can be kind of a disappointment. When you imagine tv shows and incredible glitz, the streets and sidewalks of Hollywood don't exactly match up to the fictional realm and what drew each fan to this place. But in Los Angeles (Hollywood is not a city, but a region of L.A.,) the sun nearly always shines and the weather seldom gets too cold, so visiting just for the weather alone satisfies most individuals on vacation. As a region Hollywood enjoys many museums and attractions. The top spot people like to visit is around the Kodak Theater where outside its doors you'll see Grauman's Chinese, and the Hollywood Walk of Fame that wraps around the surrounding blocks of the region's anchor, Hollywood and Highland Streets.

On these tours you'll see the houses of Richard Simmons, Dr. Phil, see where Lucy lived, where the Osbournes reside with their funny water sprinkler that comes on if you walk up to the gate, and many more hilarious things. Sometimes you'll see the celeb cars parked in garages, see iron gates, video cameras, and every so often catch a glimpse beyond those gates. But really the best part of this attraction is just seeing all the expensive houses, and hearing the latest gossip from the drivers who spend their day seeking out the unusual and inside information about the every day happenings of actors, producers, famous singers and other known figures.
