Baldwin Park, California Travel Guide
Baldwin Park is not widely known as a tourist destination, but gains more of a reputation for serving the business community. With a distance to the nearest beaches in Santa Monica around 40 minutes by car or 35 miles drive on the 1-10 Freeway, the city doesn't typically enjoy the cool ocean breezes that the beach communities are privy to. Baldwin Park does, however, remain temperate in climate and air temperatures throughout the year, thanks to the oceanic influence and semi-desert climate of Southern California. San Gabriel mountains frame the landscape to the north of the city and offer beautiful sights on the clear days where you can nearly reach out touch everything.
