The Danish village of Solvang features popular treats, aebleskivers and the Swedish smorgasbord. Just three hours from Orange County, and over two from L.A., you'll find Solvang north of Santa Barbara. When Solvang weekends are booked because of events, you may want to opt for a stay in Santa Barabara. Or you can drive north under an hour to the beach vacation spot, Pismo Beach.
