Lompoc Travel Information

Lompoc was once known for its flower fields and while the flowers are mostly gone, an annual event, the Lompoc Flower Festival celebrates the heritage of the region. You'll find flowers painted by artists in murals that grace many of the downtown buildings and shops, however. Vandenberg Air Force Base nearby, provides an economic base for the city, and down the road a ways you'll find the beach. Shopping, dining, golf and Mission La Purisima Concepcion, are several of the highlights of this Central Coast California region.It's a great vacation spot and fairly close to Solvang, the Danish village. Also accessible is Santa Maria, the largest city in Santa Barabara County.

To our valued guest, There is a new law governing hotel pools. Due to the availability of the new products, this POOL AND SPA ARE TEMPORARILY CLOSED until new saftey equipment can be obtained and installed. Thank you for your patience while we complete this upgrade. White Oaks Hotel is conveniently located along scenic Highway 1 near Vandenberg Village on Californias beautiful central coast. The hotel is settled upon 7 Oak studded acres of expansive grounds. We are the only full service hotel in the area and take pride in serving our guests as best we can. Our accommodations include refrigerators, microwaves and free wireless Internet access. Rooms are appointed with an iron and board, coffee maker, hair dryer and in-room safe.
