Arcadia features exciting attractions such as the Los Angeles Arboretum and Santa Anita Racetrack near great hotel options. Arcadia?s other big attraction is its racetrack. Santa Anita Racetrack features a December through April race season. During that time it maintains a dress code of stylish attire (no jeans, tennis shoes, etc.) and has greeted celebrities throughout its years of existence. Co-founded and built by Hal Roach, stars in attendance through the years have included Bing Crosby, Spencer Tracy, Errol Flynn, Al Jolson, Frank Capra, Fred Astaire, Jack Benny, Walt Disney, Cecil B. de Mille, Whoopi Goldberg, Cybill Shepard, Jack Nicholson, Michelle Pfeiffer, Joe Pesci, Don Johnson, Herb Alpert and Burt. These are but a handful who?ve watched the racing action close to home

Additional gardens and attractions only five miles away include Huntington Library and Gardens in San Marino. This world class attraction includes an art museum, estate home, library collection and research center and three themed gardens on the rambling, lush grounds.
