The Hyatt West Hollywood is a 258-room hotel, nestled in the Hollywood Hills along the "Sunset Strip." The Sunset Ballroom and the pool are located on the top floor of the hotel with a panoramic view of the entire city. The Hyatt West Hollywood is located just minutes from Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, Melrose Avenue, the Hollywood Bowl and Universal Studios. There are 6 meeting rooms accommodating 12 to 220 people. Audio/visual equipment is also available. Starting in May 2007, the Hyatt West Hollywood will begin a 30+ million dollar renovation to include all guestrooms, suites and corridors, the lobby, the 24-hour StayFit@Hyatt fitness center, restaurant and mezzanine. All balconies have been removed and replaced with stunning translucent glass, creating a sitting area with floor to ceiling views of the Los Angeles basin. The estimated completion date and reopening of the all-new facility is November 2008. The new guestrooms and suites feature recessed lighting, plasma flat screen televisions, Hyatt iHome Stereo with iPod docking station, and the Hyatt Grand Bed. The hotel fitness center will close on May 11, 2008. There will be no food or beverage service effective June 17, 2008. Renovation work will take place Monday through Friday from 8:30am-7pm.
