Lompoc Travel Information

Lompoc was once known for its flower fields and while the flowers are mostly gone, an annual event, the Lompoc Flower Festival celebrates the heritage of the region. You'll find flowers painted by artists in murals that grace many of the downtown buildings and shops, however. Vandenberg Air Force Base nearby, provides an economic base for the city, and down the road a ways you'll find the beach. Shopping, dining, golf and Mission La Purisima Concepcion, are several of the highlights of this Central Coast California region.It's a great vacation spot and fairly close to Solvang, the Danish village. Also accessible is Santa Maria, the largest city in Santa Barabara County.

Exit Airport, turn right onto Skyway Drive. Right at light onto Hwy 135 approximately 10 minutes exit Hwy 1 Lompoc/Vandenberg Air Force Base. At light turn left and travel approximately 7 miles, veer right at Lompoc exit, hotel is on right side 1 mile.
