Buena Park Travel

Buena Park is best known for its theme park, Knott's Berry Farm. Not only does the theme park contain an old west ghost town with gold panning, it also has some extreme thrill rides for older kids and adults to enjoy. Supreme Scream, one of the nation's oldest, largest wooden roller coaster rides, other extreme rides, and a kiddie park section, Camp Snoopy, make this ideal for all ages. Special stage shows occur throughout the year and one month the park transforms into one of the original Halloween Haunt experiences. Several hotels are located next to Knott's, where believe it or not, there's also an entire educational section. A replica of Indpendence Hall and the Liberty Bell are free attractions in a separate section with lawns, picnic tables and docents dressed in period costumes. You may even see a few chickens and roosters roaming the grounds.

Buena Park is within a 20 minute drive of Disneyland, so you can see two theme parks in one visit. Down the road from Knotts, also, is one of our favorited dinner shows, Pirates Dinner Adventure. If you get a chance to see it, by all means go. It is really a lot of fun.

And finally, when summer comes, Knott's opens their waterpark with slides and water thrills. On one of these rare hot summer days when the temperature reaches 90, the waterpark is absolutely the best attraction in all of Orange County, California.
