There is no place quite like Hollywood.

I dropped
off Amy and Danny by their house and went to a nearby cafe for a late lunch,
feeling the post-buzz of a good photo shoot. As I walked in, Whitton, a
singer friend of mine who I had photographed the night before, ran up and
hugged me: 'Greg, what are you doing here? That's incredible!' I was amazed:
'I can't believe we just ran into each other in this enormous city, wow !'
LA can feel like a small world once in a while.
Feeling
adventurous, I drove off into the Hollywood hills hoping to capture a few
shots of the sunset overlooking the city. I wandered around admiring the
posh million dollar homes and fantastic scenery. I didn’t find a magic
sunset, but I did meet Sam, a cool, interesting musician composing his music
in a small park, away from the tumult of the city. I took a few shots of
him as he scratched his guitar and belted out a few soulful songs. We
connected as only people passionate about their craft can, and I was on my
way again. more...>
