the Torrey Pines Golf Course is one of the most majestic and
scenic golf courses in the world. The Torrey Pines Golf Course
was designed in 1956 by acclaimed golf course architects
William Bell and William Bell Jr. This father-son team has
created a spectacular golf course with many ocean and canyon
views. The large Torrey Pines and Eucalyptus trees, along
with the natural wild life, adds to the beauty of the course.
Home to the Buick Invitational and the Junior World
Championships, Torrey Pines is a favorite stop among both
touring professionals and the recreational golfer. In the
summer of 2001, Rees Jones, known as the U.S. Open doctor,
redesigned the South Course and increased the length and
added several fairway and green side bunkers. As a result of
all the changes, Torrey Pines Golf Course has been named as
