Hotel Angelino, a Joie de Vivre boutique hotel, is conveniently located at the base of the steep hill below the beautiful Getty Museum..  OK, so it used to be a Holiday Inn, much like to others we know of in California. There's one in downtown San Diego, and another in Long Beach. It must have a very popular style at one time, because you'll find cylindrical shaped buildings dotting landscapes around the globe.

You can stand on the patio decks at the Getty Center and look down at this particular hotel as seen in the picture above. We liked the hotel and found the location could not be beat for visits to and around Los Angeles. But if you stay, please give yourself time to visit one of L.A.'s best deals, The Getty Museum, which is Free!
