San Jose, Calif. — Evergreen Village Plaza comes alive
with art and music during the Annual Evergreen Fine Arts
and Fine Crafts Festival, a free event featuring more
than 45 professional artists showcasing original works,
complemented by live jazz and chamber orchestra music.
Presented by the
Evergreen Business and Professional Association and
Pacific Fine Arts, the must-see event runs Saturday and
Sunday (May 26 and 27, 2007) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
daily.
Featured artists at the event include painter Jenny
Floravita of Oakley, California, jeweler Sica Roman of
Cazadero, Calif., Oregon artist Tom Walsh with
sculptures of Philomath and many talented artists in a
variety of media.
Special to this year’s event, members of the San Jose
Chamber Orchestra will be performing string music and
light classics on Sunday throughout the day. Performers
will include a string quartet from the San Jose Chamber
Orchestra, a string quartet from the San Jose Youth
Chamber Orchestra and a variety of soloists.
