Event Overview
Join us for the 15th annual Race for Awareness! This 5k through central Yuba City is family and pet friendly and is just as great for walkers as competative runners. All proceeds from Pink October events stay local and benefit the Geweke's Caring for Women Foundation. The Foundation helps local women who are struggling financially due to breast cancer by helping to pay their bills and also assists our medical partners in purchasing new breast cancer technology to benefit the Yuba-Sutter community. Pre-registration ($25) goes through Tuesday, October 2. After the 2nd, you can only sign up on RACE DAY for $30. Team registration is $100 for up to 8 people. The team entry fee does not include shirts, however, they can be purchased for an additional $10 each. Early check-in and race bag pickup will be at Larry Geweke Ford on Friday, October 5 from 8am - 5:30pm. Parking on race day is limited but available at Geweke Ford. More parking can be found at Geweke Field, Gray Avenue School, and Kohl's Shopping Center. We will have a shuttle transporting from Kohl's shopping center for your convenience. Please allow ample time for parking. The race route is flat and goes through Yuba City. The run is competitive and will use disposable timing chips, walk non-competitive.
