Yorkville Highlands Wine Festival Saturday, August 14, 2010

From 2 - 6 pm At Meyer Family Cellars Mile Marker 34.2 Between Cloverdale and Boonville To celebrate the appellation’s birthday, a hosted  Wine Festival and fund-raiser each year at one of our member wineries. These summer gatherings feature fun events, like grape stomping and hoop throwing, wonderful live music, great food, and lots of delicious wine. This year’s festival will be on August 14th, with a good crowd of wine-lovers gathering at Meyer Family Cellars to enjoy the festivities.

There is also the traditional Fire Hose Signing where festival goers are encouraged to sign their name or special message to a 100’ fire hose as a statement of gratitude to those who risk their lives battling California's annual blazes.
