Westminster, CA--The Westminster Community Services and Recreation Department and the Vietnamese American Artist and Media Association present Tet Parade Committee details regarding this annual festive event. This is the City of Westminster’s 2nd year coordinating the parade.

Among the speakers at a recent conference to discuss details were Andy Quach - Councilmember of the City of Westminster, also the Chair of the Tet Parade Committee, Greg Johnson – Director of the Westminster Community Services and Recreation Department, staff from the City and the Police Department, and other Vietnamese community members sitting in the committee. They will be available to answer media questions regarding sponsorship, participation, public attendance, media coverage, etc.

The parade is scheduled to begin on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 9:30 AM till 11:3 AM. The participants will begin marching at Magnolia Street on Bolsa Avenue and turn on Bushard Street ending at Bishop Place.
