Trees in the Bay are something every city with a lake or
gentle bay should
consider installing. They just look so cool!
Belmont Shore--The Video above shows the
trees in the bay of Alamitos Bay in Long Beach's Belmont Shore /
Naples region. But you can drive along the parks and find these
trees in several location on waterways that reflect the colorful
lights of the tree stands.
Every year Long Beach
California installs these lighted trees on the water. They light up
around Thanksgiving and can be seen till the New Year. You can find
them by parking near Leeway Sailing Center on Ocean (near Bayshore),
and walking onto the sand beach past the basketball courts. The
views are so pretty at sunset, or when a gondolier or boater passes
by.
Visible in the
video are the luxury waterfront homes of Naples Island,
and a huge complex,
Bayshore Condominiums, where residents can sit on
patio decks and watch the lights at night during the
holidays.
It's a very special time.
Shown in the video above, you can even rent an electric Duffy boat
from a vendor at Alamitos Landing, Long Beach, CA.
