Sara Grey and Kieron Means -
Dynamic Ballad Duo - maclurg.com/saragrey for schedule
This coverage started out as
simply an event posting of the Sara Grey appearance for the Los Osos
Scottish Society on the Central California Coast. But when we
explored, "Who is Sara Grey?" the results were astounding. Of the
recording and music artists presented to us for posting in our
California events calendar, few seem to have a following, and
success in booking on tour than does this twosome of Sara Grey, the
ballad singer who plays the banjo, and her musical companion, Kieron
Means, who plays the guitar. They hail from Perthshire, Scotland,
and leave their impressive cultural imprint wherever they perform
around the globe.
For instance, a recent peak at
Grey's web site shows that she is booked and touring much of the
time. She seems to capably select her regions to perform and fill
here schedule, with time off for writing songs and rest, we assume.
On tour in the UK in the spring 2009, Grey had a hefty 3-month
schedule of touring with gigs in no less that 30 locations!
On the West Coast, USA, Grey
and Means appear in Arizona, New Mexico, California, Washington and
Oregon. In California, there are several opportunities to catch Sara
Grey.

Where to stay in
Los Osos /
Morro Bay Hotels: While most hotels in
this region offer ocean-close or ocean view accommodations, the
prices are mid-range for beach hotels and the offerings seem seldom
to top a AAA two-star rating. What does that mean? You are getting
simply the basics. We try to stay in a three-star range on our
trips, but sometimes you can't pull it off. Local hotels near this
event include
Best Western El Rancho
2460 Main Street, Morro Bay, CA;
Best Western San Marcos Inn
250 Pacific Street, Morro Bay; and
Inn At Morro Bay 60 State Park Road,
to name a few.
