Claus visits Long Beach's Marketplace each weekend before
Christmas...and his jovial manner, stylish demeanor, and listening ear

If you're
looking for weekend entertainment, get the kids out for some fresh air
to visit Santa during December. Entertaining music, flowing fountains
with birds gliding aimlessly in symphony, and lots of great restaurants,
movies and even a Christmas tree lot next door with kiddie train rides
makes for a seasonal celebration of its own at the Marketplace in Long
Beach.
Located
across the street from Mimi's and just a few miles from the Belmont
Shore holiday Trees in the Bay, Marketplace Long Beach offers a festive
atmosphere throughout the mall. A tall tree stands in the center of the
plaza, where Santa's red hut sits, and Santa greets kids with a merry,
ho-ho-ho.
The mall
features entertainment such as concerts throughout the year, but during
the holidays you may find strolling musicians in toy soldier costumes,
colorful carolers singing Christmas favorites, and store windows
decorated with silver ornaments that shine. It's just one more reason to
love Long Beach, one of our favorite Southern California events
destinations.
