SAN PEDRO - Cabrillo Marine Aquarium's Annual
Halloween event, SEA SCARE transforms the aquarium into an
underwater world of chills, thrills and gills. Come in costume and
join in the masquerade of spooks and ghouls, trick-or-treat
throughout the aquarium at six different themed treat stations or
walk along the docks of the "Port Town" scare zone. Just when you
thought you were safe, those marauding pirates are back to pillage
and plunder. Visit the Aquarium's Aquatic Nursery for a special
treasure hunt, scary sea creature feedings and chilling cryogenic
demonstrations. Stop by the Exploration Center for some treats,
participate in bioluminescent crafts and learn about other creepy
sea creatures. Enter the "Mermaid's Lair" in the Marine Research
Library for some sea monster creations and spooky stories. Don't
forget to enter the costume contest for your chance to win some
spook-tacular prizes. Teens and adults will appreciate the
Aquarium's all new haunted house, "Ghosts of Atlantis", a haunting
journey through the ruins of the infamous lost city. Kids of all
ages can participate in activities at the Craft Corner such as
spooky cookie decorating. Try your luck at some games of chance or
have your fortune read at "Voodoo Village". Then dance the night
away in the "Sea Scare Party Zone." Apparitional activities, creepy
crafts, dreadful demonstrations, and eerie entertainment all await
you at Cabrillo Marine Aquarium's "SEA SCARE". Admission is $5 for
adults and $1 for children and seniors, FRIENDS members are free.
