October 10, 2009 Ocean Beach / San Diego Oktoberfest

The annual Ocean Beach Oktoberfest in San Diego is one of the year's most celebrated events at this fun-loving beach. The crowds are so large that the OB Oktoberfest bus has to take people to the event from a satellite parking lot which runs nearly every 30 minutes back and forth. The event's top contest is a sausage toss with cash prizes. There are sausage eating and bier stein holding contests, plus lots of chicken dancing, as well.
