Tour de Poway is an annual race event featuring several distance competitions and courses. All rides start and finish at Old Poway Park, in the city of Poway. Poway is 30 miles northeast of San Diego, 6 miles south of Escondido and 30 east of Oceanside. DIRECTIONS: From I-5 go towards Oceanside, then Highway 78 to Escondido, south on I-15 to Poway Road. Take Poway Road east 4 miles to Midland Road, then north 1 mile to Old Poway Park. The park address is 14128 Midland Road, Poway,CA.

102 Mile (Century) spans over 4,500 feet of climbing, downhill through back country avocado groves and a scenic ride down the coast, then back to Poway on the 8 mile SR56 bike path.

Five well stocked aid stations offer replenishment and assistance on the east bound lane of the Poway Grade, which will be closed to vehicle traffic from 7:00am-9:00am. Wrist bands will be required for cyclists to ride the grade.

62 Mile (Metric Century) starts out the same way as the 102 mile century. You climb 3,000 feet and will find three aid stations. East bound lane of the Poway Grade will be closed to vehicle traffic from 7:00am-9:00am. Wrist bands will be required for cyclists to ride the grade.  Start 7:30 am.

50 Mile- starts at 7:30 am; 26 Mile starts at 10 am and 18 Mile also starts at 10 am. North Poway through the Bernardo Winery. Less than 500 feet of climbing. One aid station.

After the ride, all riders can participate in the Barbeque lunch in charming Old Poway Park. Barbeque includes chicken, salad, beans, a drink and a cookie. All for only $12. Barbeque will be served from 11:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
