He has Master's Degrees in Physical Education and Sports Psychology, received national certification as a CAP Level II Coach by the U.S. Volleyball Association, and was named Pacific Coast and Northern California Coach of the Year.
"No Attitudes Allowed" sand tournaments will take place monthly at Main Beach in Santa Cruz. Nearly 500 teams participated last year. Categories for coed, men and novice and, occasionally, women and 4-person. No current-rated CBVA players (previously-rated CBVA okay with PRIOR approval from the tournament director). Check-in is 8:30 AM the day of the tournament. Comes with a money back guarantee if you don't have a total blast.
Players who are interested in participating in this tournament must preregister and should have an intermediate/advanced level of ability for the Men's and Coed Divisions. The Novice Division (Two men are not allowed in Novice) is designed for men and women with very little playing and competitive experience.
