McCloud Heritage Days Aug. 14 -16, 2009
McCloud Heritage Days begins on Friday August 14 in the evening and goes through Saturday Aug. 15, and Sunday, Aug. 16. Best of all, it is family friendly and most events are free. Located in scenic northern California between Redding and the Oregon border, McCloud and Mt. Shasta feature several hotels ideal for a visit to this event. Amazing scenery on the southern slopes of Mount Shasta, the downtown is listed on the National Historic Register District list. With natural alpine beauty and crystal clear lakes and streams, it's the kind of place that you may not want to leave, once you visit. FRIDAY, AUG. 14
