Set in the rolling hills and valleys of Santa Barbara
County, a once-a-year event in the lovely town of Los Olivos.
A Day in the Country
celebrates the time of year in which the kids have returned to school,
Halloween draws near, and the big Day in the Country parade, tractor
display, arts, crafts and wine tasting make for a celebration worth
attending.
Held in Los Olivos,
located north of Santa Barbara and south of Solvang, tourists are spellbound
by the region which combines country living with city amenities to make for
a destination you'll remember. While there aren't but a few hotels in Los
Olivos, itself, tourists can stay at nearby Solvang or in Santa Barbara
where the options are incredible.
The Day in the Country
event includes a pancake breakfast, 5K Run, Parade with Scarecrows, Antique
Cars & Tractors, and a festival that tops the day off with food vendors and
many things to look at and consider buying.
Held in Los Olivos,
you'll find the city is easily accessible from Highway 101. For more
