Rancho Los Cerritos Christmas Open House

Long Beach, Calif.-- Rancho Los Cerritos Historic Site, 4600 Virginia Road, Long Beach 90807. Located northwest of the intersection of San Antonio Drive and Long Beach Boulevard.

Experience 19th century Christmas traditions and learn about local history at Rancho Los Cerritos’ “Christmas Open House.”

Guests may explore the adobe home, which will be decorated for the season, and discover 19th century Mexican and American holiday traditions. Children can participate in festive activities, and they will be able to take home their hand-made holiday decorations. Piñata breaking, storytelling and a visit from Santa will certainly make this a memorable event! Light refreshments and live music will be provided free of charge throughout the afternoon.

Decorative ornaments, gourmet jellies, children’s toys and handmade Christmas crafts will also be available for purchase in the Museum Shop. The historic adobe will be decorated with Christmas greenery until the New Year.
