Beachcruiser Car Show held annually in Huntington
Beach, California include hundreds of classic cars and thousands of
admirers. In 2010 the event is planned for one weekend in March
(probably the third weekend, subject to change). See more.
On Saturday March 21st and Sunday
March 22nd the 9th annual Huntington BEACHCRUISER MEET took place on
Main Street from Pier Plaza to Orange Avenue including side streets such
as Walnut and Olive. Approximately 485 classic cars such as nomads,
woody's and a marmin were on display (on half of the Pier Sunday).
This event is organized through a
car enthusiast named Thomas Long. His Sponsors were: Chris Messano
Woodworks, Jack's Surfboards, Duke's, C And G Early Ford Parts, Primo,
Surboards By The Greek and Megular's.
The Eliminators Surf Band played
on Saturday in front of The Rock And Roll Emporium and Harley Davidson.
Linda Miller the Events Director of The Huntington Beach International
Surfing Museum helped bring them there.
It was estimated that 10,000
people came to this two day event. At the vendor fair at Pier Plaza The
Huntington Beach Downtown Business Improvement District's Chris
MacDonald and Lee Love shared a Booth with The Huntington Beach
International Surfing Museum's Lee Love, Dan McCoy, Randy Lyford, Jodi
McKay, Gary Sahagen and Randy Lyford to promote coming events such as
the Surfin Sunday Concert Series and Chili At The Beach. Matt Liffering
from HBTV Channel 3 and His Reporter Jaime Westman Former Miss
Huntington Beach Of 1996 were filming for Surf City Highlights.
Huntington Beach City Council Member Gil Coerper Judged the cars and
