The Huntington Harbour Philharmonic works year-round to raise money for a special program that funds educational opportunities for students. One of the pre-events to the famous Cruise of Lights annual holiday boat ride in Huntington Harbour is Boutique of Lights..

Held for the first time recently, the event brought together to crafts people, designers and and merchants selling specialty foods, clothing and gifts for a pre-Christmas shopping spree that allows the public to shop in a pleasant environment. Not only does your purchase help support small business owners, it also helps fund these special school programs with a focus on music in the schools--something that is no longer funded in many of the grade and junior high schools, as well as high school.

In association with this event is the Huntington Harbour Boat Parade and Cruise of Lights.

Some trendy gifts we found at this boutique event included silk hand-painted scarves, gourmet foods, and women's handbags elegantly designed with couture appeal. In addition to these items, there was lots of hand-designed and crafted jewelry, fashion and Christmas ornaments for a decorator tree.
