The themed GINGERBREAD VILLAGE Holiday Event and Exhibit will deck the lobby and halls of the Ayres Hotel at the crossroads of Manhattan Beach, Hawthorne and El Segundo, at 14400 Hindry Avenue, Hawthorne, CA.

Showcasing creations from entrants who artfully turn gingerbread, frosting and candy into snowy scenes, the Gingerbread House displays will provide the backdrop for a special OPEN HOUSE offering music, refreshments and entertainment  on Thursday, November 20 from 5:30 to 8:00 pm, open to the public and free of charge.

On Sunday, November 23 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. a  FOOD & WINE TASTING SPECTACULAR will be presented. Surrounded by the comfortable elegance and rich amenities that are the hallmarks of the Ayres Family European-style hotel, the Food and Wine Tasting Spectacular will tease and titillate the taste buds with fine foods and wines from outstanding local establishments. Accompanying the culinary delights will be an exciting Silent Auction featuring unusual items as well as other ‘perfect gifts’ to make this year’s holiday shopping a highlight of the season. Special musical entertainment will add the final touch to this “wonderland” experience. Tickets to the FOOD & WINE TASTING SPECTACULAR are available for $35 for persons 21years and over only.
