The Go Red Race, presented by Golden 1 Credit Union and Sutter Heart & Vascular Institute, will take place on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Crocker Park in Downtown Sacramento. Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in the 5K (3.1 Mile) or 10K (6.2 mile) run or walks, which travel along the streets of Downtown Sacramento and the Sacramento River.

The Go Red Race Vendor Expo, presented by Nugget M

After you cross the finish line, you'll be greeted by the Go Red Race Vendor Expo, presented by Nugget Markets. Dozens of booths with information pertaining to health and wellness will be available, as well as refreshments.

Course Information

Both the 5K and 10K courses start and finish on "O" Street, next to Crocker Park. Courses are flat, fast and paved, and travel along Front Street and paths along the Sacramento River. There will be one water station on the 5K and three on the 10K. Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted, however, we ask that bikes, scooters, rollerblades and dogs are left at home for your safety and the safety of other participants.
