Wine & A Bite
Art Walk
Fallbrook, California's annual Wine & "A Bite" Art Walk through Downtown
Fallbrook takes place on pleasant summer evenings June through
September, and is held on the third Saturday in Historic Downtown
District. Wine sampling, art shopping and restaurant faire is featured
at each stop along the way in this adults (21+) event. Held for several
hours (usually 5 to 7 p.m.) the event offers one more reason to visit
lovely, meandering Fallbrook. Long a favorite hide-away of locals,
tourists will delight in discovering the little piece of paradise near
the Pacific.
Showcasing what Fallbrook does best, the event combines the talents of
three types of artists--winemakers, visual arts creators, and chefs, who
tie together taste and the visual presentation, so that attendees to
this special event are left with a memorable, lasting impression. While
many such art walks include wine and art, few offer the food samplings
that guests thoroughly enjoy, learning about the bounty of farm fresh
produce that comes right from the Fallbrook area!
Located
just 15 miles or so from the Pacific Ocean, Fallbrook isn't far from the
Temecula Wine Valley. Fallbrook's assets are its produce, flowers and
other items that accompany fine wines grown in nearby Temecula. The
bounty that grows in this perfect climate offers chefs great products to
create the award-winning dishes, to go along with Temecula's
award-winning wines.
