Corona del Mar--September is not ho-hum at Big Corona del Mar State Beach, though the hum of
engines can be heard. Annual Coastline Car Classic sponsored by Corona del
Mar Chamber of Commerce invites the public to listen to the purr of engines
where the classic cars combine with the swell of the Pacific Ocean to create
magic.
Vintage automobiles and exotic sports cars celebrate themes each year.
Previous events honored classics such as the Bentley, for instance. Racing
legends, talk show hosts and a host of local dignitaries all join this fun
event filled with shine. Automotive collectors from Orange County, Southern
California and elsewhere all share the love of beautiful beach bodies--car
bodies, that is. These classics truly outshine any beach bunny that might
attend.

visitors will be able to view a selection of cars that have never before
been seen. 14 classes hand picked by a team of trained judges are narrowed
to the “Best of Show” by day’s end.
Live entertainment, food, beverages, vendors and the public
all pitch in by selling or buying things with proceeds benefiting a selected
charity. The Coastline Car Classic is open to the public. Admission is
approx. $10 (kids under 12 free). State Beach Parking is approx. $10 or free
shuttles provided. VIP packages are available pre-sale only.
