Do you love having fun outdoors and entertaining kids?  If so, this is the perfect job training for you!  Assist the Santee Summer Day Camp staff with program operations, activities, trips and special events including Santee Salutes on July 4th.  Ideal for young people looking for an opportunity to gain work experience, leadership training and professional development.  This program gives Jr. Camp Leaders a competitive edge when applying for jobs, internships and scholarships.

Academics, activity and ART inspired by the great Robert Ripley.  Students will discover the greatness within themselves as they learn the history behind Robert Ripley and the impact he made on the world.  Students will serve as interns at the Ripley's Bureau of Investigation and their summer job will be to build a Museum in the tutoring center.  All participants will receive motivational coaching and will undergo intensive training sessions to tune up reading, writing and math skills.  Interns will be challenged to think creatively and will be asked to perform detailed Ripley related tasks.  Includes take home research material such as Ripley's Believe It or Not! Download the Weird, Fun Facts and Silly Stories and more.  Attend all 3 weeks half day session and keep all materials and get free admittance to the museum in Hollywood.  Ratio is one tutor per 3 students.

Learn about famous scientists and inventors who were all-stars in their field of expertise.  Follow in their footsteps as you are equipped with the science skills needed to rise to the top.  Together with your teammates you will build super structures, create a volcanic eruptions and examine rocks formed from volcanic magma.  Soar high as you build a kite and experiment with lift, aerodynamics and air pressure as well as discover the secret behind the stars.

Science is magical and also theatrical. This camp is filled with hands-on science including make slime, lava lamps and exploring wind with one breath tubes.

Students will expand their creative thinking skill in this personalized learning environment that will incorporate reading, writing and math.  Learners will work together in large and small groups to create both educational and creative projects.  Fun and interactive games will also prepare students for the upcoming school year. Ratio is one tutor per 4 students.
