Note: Ronnie
Lomas of Pageantry Productions, a company that
produced countless parades and festivals, including
Huntington Beach 4th of July Parade, Lompoc's Flower
Festival Parade, Big Bear Old Miner's Day Parade,
Long Beach Veterans Parade, and many more,
passed away in January 2009, after a courageous
battle with liver cancer. Fondly remembered for her
smile and sense of humor, she will be missed by all
who knew her.
It was an
overcast day in Westminster but as Veronica Lomas
would say, "The show must go on." And it did when
two elephants draped in pink, along with a female
rider in pink, and two gentleman in tuxes with pink
cummerbund, and matching pink bow-ties
accenting the white white jackets, white shirts and
black pants.
